Job Full Description
Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Pay: $20 - $23 per hour, based on experience
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to support residential properties including condos, townhomes, and vacation homes along the Gulf Coast. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who takes pride in quality work, responds well to service requests, and understands the fast-paced needs of property management and short-term rentals.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs for residential properties (condos, townhomes, vacation homes)
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC (basic), appliances, and fixtures
- Complete preventative maintenance and property inspections
- Prepare units for guest arrivals and owner occupancy (turnovers, punch lists)
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency calls as needed
- Coordinate with property managers, vendors, and contractors
- Maintain accurate service records and inventory of tools and materials
- Ensure all work meets safety standards and company expectations
Qualifications
- 2+ years of maintenance or property management experience preferred
- Strong skills in general maintenance (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall)
- Basic HVAC knowledge a plus
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple work orders
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Comfortable working in occupied and vacant properties
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Schedule & Work Environment
- Full-time position
- May include weekends, holidays, and on-call rotations
- Outdoor and indoor work in coastal environments
